Waze - GPS Navigation, Maps, Traffic & Parking App Reviews

I have delivered pizza for about ten years now! I used to use the standard gps bought at the store garmin tomtom blah blah blah... I have tried google maps and last Christmas google maps almost killed me my pregnant wife and my now four year old it told me to enter the highway in the wrong direction when I switch to iPhone I started using apple maps but I was always getting sent on longer routes then what I knew to be much longer! Then I found Waze not only have I been arriving faster than the company I work for says the shortest route should be it has detoured me whenever wherever there might be traffic even on side/back roads! I have decreased my delivery times on average of about 3-4 minutes which increased my tips about 5-7% on average which with the decrease in tips over the years is huge! I have since deleted all maps services an replaced with waze!

I hate city driving, and this app got me through NYC in rush hour with several time-saving re-routes.

I think your app is pretty good. BUT have you thought about people who ride motorcycles? Im sure you have a whole team that thinks up ways to make your app better to attract more users, but Ill offer a few suggestions anyway.. just in case you dont have any riders on your team. Earlier or more notice to turn. Let me know when Ive passed the object in road, police ahead, or anything thats a notification. Reroute instead of turning back to the original course Verbal notes to thumbs up a notification (or delete) also request reroute or continue options - again verbal commands would be awesome. I have Bluetooth set up in my helmet. Thanks for all your work! Look twice, save a life folks!

Needs an update to use the GPS "while using" the app only.

The best GPS with the quickest routes... always up to date and right there on your phone! Proud to be a "Wazer"!

After putting all the most popular navigation apps through the ringer, theres no doubt in my mind that Waze tops them all. Near instant reports on everything from speed traps to road hazards have save me countless times over the course of the year during my long drives to and from work. Would definitely recommend!

Good app...but really drains my battery and doesnt seem to help guide me around heavy traffic areas

I havent used it too much yet but when I have it had done me good. Even when I am out of my service range. As long as I have it set up as I am on my way it seems to always keep me going on the route I chose even without cell service.

Gps not found and it wont work

I really like the features in this app. However, I would like this app to only use my location when Im using the app, but that is not an option...sad

A friend of mine introduced me to this app for my trip to Texas from Iowa. It worked great let me know when traffic was ahead, construction, and even the police. Best thing ever. But a problem I do have is when Im driving and I notice a stalled car on the other side of the road I cant report it. Which is weird since I can report car accidents and police on the other side of the road but not hazards such as stalled cars, road kill, and a couple others. Please fix this so people driving can also look out for the drivers going the opposite way. One more issue I had was driving to Panda Express in Ames,Iowa it didnt take me there? It took me all the way to the opposite side of town by ISU. Do people add places to the app to mess everybody up or was this just a glitch in your system?

Really like this app!

With all the back and forth to the cottage in the summer, I am now depending on Waze to get me there and back home as fast as possible. The kids have made spotting hazards to punch in a new travel game!

The best, extremely useful even while driving the routes you know.
