Waze - GPS Navigation, Maps, Traffic & Parking App Reviews

Best app ever!

Here in Minneapolis, we have two seasons: winter and road construction. Since road construction takes up 50% of the roads, Waze has been invaluable in letting me know about blocked paths that I would normally take to avoid construction. I love the "police warning" feature to avoid getting tickets, and knowing why am sitting in traffic so long due to crashes or other obstructions. Being able to contribute by reporting on road conditions where Im out makes me feel part of the "Team People" rather than the seething masses who are frustrated by traffic. Will write an update after Ive used it for a few months.

This is a very good app to get an update for your everyday road traffic. The only thing is if they can put in the speed limit on the specific road youre in coz sometimes we miss the required speed limit.

Gives you so much info....

Im a general fan of the idea, but the execution is off-putting. Ive been meaning to write a review for ages (my only review of anything), but Ive been driving every time. 1) you hit "go" on your blue tooth and suddenly youre jumping in your seat from the sheer difference of the music to voice navigation. Whatever the character its shrill and off putting. Please level it out. 2) There isnt a pause in activity (music/podcasts) when the navigation chimes in. Thusly loosing out. I essentially just have to listen to the navigation on car trips. 3) Wen the screen locks, you lose the map.

Waze gives me optional routes to survive the urban jungle that is LA. Love it.

Great App. I moved to DC a couple months ago and was terrified when I drove to work. This app helped me navigate around traffic jams as well as warned me of potential hazards. Am at the point where I dont even use it to navigate I just have it running so I can see these hazards and warn other drivers. Great app and highly recommended.
