Waze - GPS Navigation, Maps, Traffic & Parking App Reviews

This once was my favorite app Since Google changed it I hate it. I cant touch the screen without Facebook or a microphone popping up. Very distracting while driving. It is a GPS app, should be easy to control without starring at the screen. Not to mention all the pop ups. One good thing they added was the posted speed of the street you are driving on. Overall too many frozen screens now!

It could always be better, but its my go-to app for finding my car and getting places. It would be nice to remove the comments section (for some alerts) and add voice controls for voting up/down for alerts. Im pretty bad at remembering street names, so if I know a faster/easier route it is hard to stop later and suggest an improvement. Like all direction apps, if you are too close to the road you "should" be on, it doesnt reroute. Really good at dictating directions/alerts to give you enough time to react. The gas stop suggestion works, but Id rather go off my route by a lot more (no option to change radius from route) so I still use GasBuddy (then the in--app link to directions by Google maps). Thank you for supplying a great, free app (with content friendly ads)!

I love this app! Great features!

Waze now requires full access to your entire address book, including addresses of all your contacts. Thats terribly intrusive and a stunningly poor understanding of user privacy. Waze has for a while required that the app have access to your location all the time rather than just when you are using the app, but I reluctantly learned to live with that. Account recovery has not worked for my notes, I end up having create a new account each time.

The app used to give you the traffic info and alerts on the map view of routes...on the actual route lines. Now for some reason it only gives you traffic...and for everything but the route lines. Not sure what the point of that is. The alerts are always a bit behind too.

Great traffic and situation information. Difficult to use and pay attention to driving. Needs a "kill" button to stop app when you want to stop navigation or reach your destination.

I use wade anytime I need directions our way to arrive at a given time. Works so very well.

I love how it proactively will reroute me when my principal route is all jammed up with traffic. I like how it alerts me to police presence...

What a great app!!! Fastest routes and avoid problems

Im really glad I found Waze. It helps me quite a lot as Im a student who commutes far distances. The recent update seems to definitely be more accurate with rerouting. Before it would send me on a routes that I knew would take an extra 5 minutes due to traffic or construction. Now there is a small feature that I would like to request, unless I havent read enough to find out it has already been implemented. When I start a new semester I have to drive to new locations (or the same locations) at different times. For a while after the start of the current semester, Waze thought I wanted to go to my old classes when I started it. I hope theres a way to reset driving habits or something. Still a great near perfect app.

This is a useful app to keep track of traffic, hazards and cops.

Love this app more than words can express!! Not only does it tell you were cops are it tells you if there are animals near the road, where cameras are, and if there is any construction. Greatest idea

Used this app on my last road trip and loved it. On a trip now and the screen freezes and locks up when I attempt to go to my route. I have to delete and reinstall to get it to work again. Would also be super nice if it didnt delete the route when I check something else on the phone.
