Waze - GPS Navigation, Maps, Traffic & Parking App Reviews

So good at diverting around traffic that I use it for short drives I know well to see if there is a better way. And there often is! It is amazing.

Eta is extremely accurate. I wish it didnt use location when not using the app. I also wish you could tell it to avoid highways for only the current trip. As it is, if you select "avoid highways" it avoids highways for all future trips.

Best navigation and best warnings of traffic and hazards I disagree with some of the directions, they can be to do something which would be perfectly rational, if it werent rush hour, making the directions impossible.

if youre use to the older map apps there will be a slight learning curve. once you get passed that though it is an absolutely amazing and informative app.

What about an option to let the screen lock, and app snooze automatically, when a destination is reached and the power is disconnected.

It is very reliable and so far has always gotten me to where I want to go. It is very impressive how it diverts you around traffic and accidents up ahead

Great app, i think, it is the best

I have been using this app for years and I recommend it to people all the time. I would rank it a 5star if it had just a few improvements fixed or added: 1) there need to be an option to avoid HOV lanes just like toll options. You dont always have enough people to assume HOV is an option and I use tolls so I cant turn off tolls options. 2) why only three options for a route choice? I commute ~54mi each day and there are 6 different frwy options I could take. I want the fastest option and yet I cant see more than 3 to choose. My prior issue limits how many I see when HOV takes up one or two options. 3) Hazard weather options. Please bring back the rain option. I think picking flood is in accurate when you just want people to know there is rain coming down. 4) color bar for traffic on your route not visible. The new map size is great, but the blue color for you route takes up so much space you cant see the road head traffic indication for slow or stand still traffic.

Love this app and could do my job without it. Recently, the screen no longer stays on while running. On a long drive, the screen goes dark and the app stops directing unless I wake it up. Frustrating...but I love this app!

I always love using Waze ! Google/Waze had done an awesome job with this application and all the built-in features. However, the current update had made this app useless for me at the moment, it always times out after ~1 min, then the display goes back to sleep. Please look into this and fix.

Always requests to know your location (even when not using the app) and you must give access to all of your contacts to share ETAs.

Its great to see spots where police may be hiding out or running speed traps, very helpful for long road trips. The app works better than my tom tom gps more often then not.

I use this app everyday. I have avoided cops, surprise road hazards, and accidents because if it. If you commute more than 15 mins anywhere, you should have this apps assistance.
