Great app use it on all road trips

I have used it in many different states, its like youre driving like a local. Has been 98% correct and has only let me down a couple of times.

Great App Im using this for all road trip

This app has never let me down, whether Im trying to get across rush-hour Boston or finding my way through rural Vermont. Even in less-populated areas, theres enough data on traffic and road construction that Waze can steer you away from slow routes. It also pointed me to using a ferry across Lake Champlain that I wouldnt have otherwise, a move that saved me over an hour on the road. I love being able to report hazards safely while driving by using their voice recognition commands. The cute interface also makes my day just a little brighter.

I really like Waze and the only reason why I did not rate it a 5 star is because it doesnt give you an option to only use "Location when app is in use". Its option is "Allow Location Access: Never or Always". To preserve my battery I have to manual turn "Location" on or off.

Overall its ok. My biggest issue is when it takes me off the highway (for no apparent reason) and sends me on back roads. Or send me home a different route. That can be very frustrating.

The only thing missing is "history", i.e. show the recent locations I visited. Other than that if they tell you to go on what seems to be a bad route, accept it - there is a reason, most of the time is traffic. It "knows" how to figure out the quickest route. Quick story, getting out of NYC I was following one of my usual routes. Waze was on and It was "yelling" at me to go a different way. Every time I didnt follow the suggested turn it would beep and re-route. The traffic started to get bad and I followed the Waze suggestion reluctantly. Later watching the news I found that my favorite route, Tappan Zee bridge, had been closed and there was a 6 hour delay there.

Love to see where Waze will take me! Its fun to click on work or home & then guess what route I get to go today. Its rarely the same drive, but it IS ALWAYS THE FASTEST! Seeing my husband & kids in route is also an amazing feature!

Love this app especially since Madea is one of the voices this app would get more downloads if Madeas voice was made available to all phones, would give it a 5 ⭐️ but some phones cant get it.

Ever since the iOS 10 came out the ability of this app to locate and keep a GPS single has plummeted, even if Im standing outside under sunny skues. This used to be an amazing app that I used all the time. Hopefully the next update will fix this issue.

Waze used to allow you to enter issues on the opposite side of the road. I often can see problems such as items in the road, lane closures, stopped vehicles, construction issues, accidents and other hazards in the oncoming lanes long before those drivers counter them. Waze does allow you to report police on the opposite side of the highway which although handy for speeders, arguably does nothing to improve safety. I also wish Waze let you indicate when a particular lane is closed so that I can know ahead of time which lane should move to. Lastly: Why is Waze so bad at figuring out what direction Im going to when when I start a route. Apples "Maps" program doesnt seem to have that issue at all.

This is the best app ever for GPS always live updates by users so its like SUPER LIVE!!

With its real-time traffic updates, this app has routed us around more than one potential traffic disasters. The newest version is the easiest one to use yet!

I drive to Different prime Location in Atlanta everyday for work. Buck head, Midtown, the heart of Atalanta as well as surrounding areas OTP and without Waze Id be 2 hours late to work everyday.
